Wedding Photography

I am a medium-budget photographer, part-time, and take only a few weddings per year.

I use a photojournalistic style to portray the excitement, the fun, and the emotion of your wedding day, as well as the small details which complete the picture. There will be a group photo session with the wedding party and families at a planned time in the day. During the day I will also spend some additional time with the bride and groom alone creating some memorable personal images.

My approach is to set a single fee for the day, which will give you a USB memory drive with the full-resolution photos, fully edited to perfection, and a nice album. I will also put the shots on a gallery web site where you and your friends and family can view them and order prints if you like, but you can always make your own prints from the USB drive.

The wedding photography package includes:

Photojournalistic record of wedding, including preparations, ceremony, reception, detail shots.
Planned formal group session.
Bridal portraits.
Romantic couple-only session during the wedding day, or can be pre- or post-wedding day.
All post-processing of images, including color correction and retouching.
Standard album 30 pages 12x12.
USB memory drive of full-resolution images and "home use" rights, that you may use to create your own albums, wall prints, gifts, etc.
Package price for the above: $1900.
Travel expenses beyond the greater Charlotte region are additional.
Additional prints, gifts, photo thank-you cards, etc may be ordered for extra cost, or make your own.

Album

Albums can be anything you desire. The package price includes my standard album. If you have something different in mind, tell me about it and I will give you a quote of what it will cost. If you don't yet know what you want, I can show you some samples of what I have done in the past, but remember, we are not limited to what you see in the samples.

The standard album is a flush-mount album with 30 pages, 12x12 with black or brown padded simulated leather cover.

You have the option of selecting the photos that you want in your album or you can let me choose the best images. Before the album is printed, you will receive a proof in a pdf file for your approval.

A typical mother's album would have 26 pages, 6x6 hardcover, $54.

Standard prints, ordered online: 8 wallets $4.50, 4x6 $1.50, 5x7 $3, 8x10 $6, 8x12 $7.50, 11x14 $9.

Custom wall prints, studio quality: 16x20 $43.50, 20x30 $82.50, 24x36 $136.50, 30x40 $139.50. Framing extra.

NC tax included.

Please note, these are "standard" suggestions, but if they do not sound like what you are looking for, just talk to me and we will gladly adapt to your needs and budget.

Photo shoots are all on-location in the natural setting. Normally the location would be the venue of the wedding ceremony, but it can be another scenic location if desired. I will bring all needed lighting equipment.

No charge for travel within 150 mi. radius of southwest Charlotte, North Carolina. Charge for travel expenses beyond that.

Payments: 1/3 deposit to hold the date, remainder due 14 days before wedding day. Album & print orders prepaid. In case of cancellation, deposit is refundable.

Portraits

Here's what I'm offering for portraits, including engagement sessions, senior portraits, casual individual portraits, families, and children.

The session allows multiple outfit changes. Props and friends welcome. Bring ideas of poses and shots that you would like to try.

Since I don't have a studio, we can either go to a location of your choice, or do a backdrop session, where we shoot against a muslin background screen. I have a portable backdrop stand and white, black, gray, burgundy, and gray/burgundy backdrops.

Includes one 8x10 and online download of the full-resolution images with home use rights. Retouching and color correction is included on all images.

A 1 - 2 hour session on location within reasonable driving distance of the Charlotte, NC/RockHill, SC region, $150.

Sessions must be paid for at the time of the session.

Keepsake soft-cover photo books with a selection of the best shots $30 each. You'll need to tell me which shots you want, and pay with the order.
